Council looks after lots of different areas such as parks, playgrounds, skate parks, dirt jumps, walking tracks and trails, local roads, garbage, recycling, jetties, community halls, public toilets, car parking, street lights, jetties, town planning, building, footpaths, bushcare, waterways, animal management and environmental health. People Power If you want Council to consider an idea or request, you should write a letter or send a letter to either the Mayor (Dr Graham Bury) or General Manager (Mr Paul West) - C/- Kingborough Council, Locked Bag 1 Kingston 7050. You can tell the Council how you would like your area to be planned and developed or you can send in your objection to certain planning proposals. You can tell the Council about a service you would like to have in your area. You can do this by writing a letter, sending an email or attending a public meeting.
